Where did the name MMOSIS come from?
MMOSIS has its origins in bedtime reading for my son when he was an infant. MMOSIS is the shortened version of MoneyMorphosis, MetaMorphosis with money subbed in for meta. This came about after reading a lot of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle to my son when he was a newborn. I like the idea of helping organizations and leaders transform their accounting department from a small little caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly. In some cases, it is just taking care of the already formed butterfly. Either way, MoneyMorposis was born. This is why our logo includes imagery of a butterfly. We want to help all organizations reach their full potential.

Stephen Peyton, CPA, is a proud father of 2 to Charlie and Lily and Husband to Kemberly. When he is not geeking out over spreadsheets or hanging out with his family, he spends his time doing triathlons, playing volleyball, playing board games, or watching sports. (Go all Dallas area Teams and the Arkansas Razorbacks!)
